Great Chefs & Wineries Welcomes Piazza D’Angelo

D'Angelo LogoWith our mouths already watering, we are thrilled to welcome none other than Piazza D’Angelo, the very urbane Mill Valley restaurant.

A family run business started by brothers Domenico and Paolo, this 30-year-old restaurant takes pride in offering fresh and authentic Italian cuisine from the southern and northern regions of Italy. The restaurant was recently mentioned in the Marin IJ for its unforgettable “spaghetti neri,” a squid ink pasta, and by KRON for lunching through Mill Valley.

Piazza D’Angelo’s Chef Andrea Giuilani began as a hotel dishwasher in Venice at the tender age of 13 and was immediately recognized for his passion for cooking. Luckily for all of us, he came to the US in 2005, where he learned how to speak English while working in the Peninsula’s finest restaurants. Andrea uses local sustainable meats and ingredients from purveyors like Niman Ranch, Capay Farms and Star Route as well as importing artisan products from Italy. Andrea brings his love for simple ingredients and Mediterranean-style cooking in to every dish he serves. “I like to express myself daily with my food. My goal is to continue Piazza D’Angelo’s legacy as Mill Valley’s most beloved kitchen while working to elevate the cuisine to an even higher standard.” Stop by Piazza D’Angelo‘s table at this year’s event and enjoy Chef Guiliani’s “Capunti di Grano Arso Pasta with Wild Boar Ragu and Achadinha Capricious Goat Cheese.” Molto delizioso!
