WINE Donation Form

2024 gREAT CHEFS & WINERIES VIRTUAL auction

. Thank you for donating from your private wine collection to help Lifehouse raise critical funds to support individuals with developmental disabilities to live a full life. Last year we raised almost 100% of fair market value. Your donation is truly appreciated.

If you have any questions please contact our Development Associate, Kati Dombrosky, kdombrosky@lifehouseagency.org

As an auction item donor, you'll enjoy these benefits:

  • Showcased in the online and mobile bidding catalog

  • The opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to the community

Has your wine been stored properly? Check these before donating. Thank you!

·       Wine should be stored on its side in cool, dark, and temperature controlled spaces.

·       The thin band of space between the cork and the wine in the bottle should look like a narrow gap, limited entirely to the mid-to-high neck of the bottle. (If this is dipping to the base of the neck or shoulder of the bottle the bottle is likely no longer good.)

·       Look for corks that seem slightly pushed out, which is a sign that the wine has been exposed to too much heat. This might even cause the foil seal to bilge or break.
